What I Do

  • All Carburetors are visually inspected for bent or broken components
  • Then disassembled for evaluation
  • Corroded cases are media blasted and thoroughly cleaned
  • All passages and blind holes and air bleeds are inspected and cleaned with carburetor cleaner
  • Carburetor components are hydrostatically cleaned and then washed in hot soapy water before being air dried
  • Cases and base plates are coated with a ceramic coating and baked for durability
  • Throttle shafts are dry film coated to insure smooth operation (when removed).
  • Holley factory secondary throttle shaft bushings are replaced (When removed)
  • Seriously worn base plates are re-bushed with brass bushings.
  • All carburetors are assembled using the best parts available and set to factory specifications in accordance with their carburetor number and or their original application
  • Carburetors are assembled paying strict attention to detail
  • All carburetors are bench/wet tested to insure needle and seat and float integrity, accelerator pump operation and that there are no leaks.
  • Allowance may be made if a functional not broken core with all of the parts intact is available. Contact me at pmjlongshot@charter.net
  • Adjustments can be made if your engine is modified. I will need specifics on your project: engine combination of parts, Transmission type, rear end gear ratio weight of car etc. (May be additional charge)
